As a little girl I felt so special knowing that my Mommy made something for me…especially clothing. The style was one of it’s own, encompassed detail in every stitch, and the warmth of the fabric that when draped over me felt like nothing but her hugs. Love had formed those pieces of clothing and was a fundamental necessity throughout.
MOMIMADE took thought a couple of years ago after having my first child, Olivia. From one piece of clothing to the next, I knew I wanted to pass down the seemingly small, and almost non-existent tradition and sentiment to her. At two, a sleeveless, criss-crossed back, lavender dress with a ruffle and yellow printed flowers helped her coin the phrase, “I feel like a princess!” which not only melted my heart, but inspired me to pass and share the sentiment to others.
